Pet Information: Pet name, species, breed, age, bio, photos, personality traits, interests, vaccination status, and social preferences.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect approximate geographic coordinates to show nearby pets. You can disable this at any time.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics about how you use the app, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

Messages: Text, images, and voice messages sent through our chat feature are stored to enable communication between matched users.

We use your data to:

• Provide pet matching and discovery features
• Enable communication between matched users
• Personalize your discovery feed based on location and preferences
• Improve our services and fix bugs

• Sentry: Error tracking and performance monitoring (production only)

These services process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your information.

• Keep you signed in (authentication tokens)

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data:

• With matched users (your pet profile and messages)

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@petfectly.app.

Upon deletion, we remove your profile, pet data, messages, and uploaded photos within 30 days. Some anonymized analytics data may be retained.

Petfectly is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security policies, input sanitization, rate limiting, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
